Very simple. If you have a 3/4 ton TV or larger, go with the Eagle. I have one and love it. If your have a 1/2 ton gasser, buy the Jayflight. The Eagles are heavy with all the extra features but the quality of the Jayflight is every bit as good. A feller earlier mentioned re-sale of the Eagle would be better, true but who looks at depreciation when buying a TT...They all are hemorrhaging cash once you pull em off the lot.

I bought a 2014 Eagle fifth wheel last fall and it's really something. We got a great deal on our unit, but either way we would have bought the Eagle because we use ours steady for 6-7 months and that's what we wanted. I'm sure the other jayco products are good quality as well, it's all personal preference really. We enjoy ours and will stick with Eagle for many years to come I'm sure.

Thanks for all of the help. I ended up picking up the 2014 Jayco Jay Flight 32BHDS for $27162.11 out the door with the 14k# equal-i-zer hitch, 15k AC, Hide-a-bed, technology package, customer value package, power package, thermal package, electric stabilizers, aluminum wheels, roof ladder, etc. If I had waited and bought in the winter or bought back east, I might have gotten a better deal, but I think I did ok on the deal for the west coast. I think the $6-7k more for the Eagle will go to some other projects.

You probably made the best choice. We have an Eagle and the words Eagle and Quality really don't go together. Same flooring, same range, same refrigerator, furnace, inverter, AC, slides, - - - -. A plus for the Jay Flight is that the sides won't get bubbles and the front cap won't chalk up. We bought an Eagle because we wanted three slides.

Good luck with the Jay Flight I am sure you will have a lot of good times camping.
That doesn't sound like to bad of a deal for all that you got with it.

We really wanted the Eagle but it was heavier than the Jayflight and did cost a few thousand more. Have not regretted buying the 32BHDS.
