is the gap in barhroom tub normal?

This is Jayco swift SLX
There is a gap where the left wall and back wall meet, see the picture.

Is this normal ?
Wouldn't water seep in there, fall to the floor and cause wood root on the floor ?
Why Jayco didn't seal that gap ?

Unknown, that tub pan might have a backer that climbs partially up the wall, behind the paneling. The tub shower in my unit has a full surround, and in full surrounds you must not caulk the bottom seam between the surround and tub, or else any errant water behind the surround will be trapped for ever.

I too have a full molded surround. I would not be comfortable the gap I see in your picture. I agree that water will enter there and cause damage.

Did Jayco stop including the surround? Both of my JayFlights had it, I don't recall it being an option.

If your trailer has a shower in that tub, they forgot the surround when building your unit, those panels are not suppose to get wet.

When I was looking at them, SLX units did not have full surrounds in the shower. Either did the UltraLites at the time (though maybe that's changed by now).
