Update!!

Ok, UPDATE!!
So I brought the slide in and it looks like it is going straight but like I said it is slightly off, so when it is almost all the way in it binds then pops in on the passive side. It goes smooth till that point and doesn't make any noise but it isn't right!

Lippert told me I need disengage the gear pack for that side to realign it. So I guess I need to cut open the underbelly to do this. I also have no idea how far under/inside the underbelly it goes.
Any ideas??

FYI....I counted the teeth showing on both sides. Passive side has 115 showing, other side has 118.5 showing.

My camper has 2 of the through frame slides. Fortunately Jayco installed removable covers over the chloroplast underbelly to access both slide motors. My slide motors were located on the non adjustable arm and if memory serves me, it seems mine was a little less than 2/3's of the way across. When you open the underbelly make sure your first cut is on the down wind side so you can cut back as far as needed. Good luck!

If I’m thinking of the same gear pack, it’s outside the frame. You should be able to access it without messing with the coraplast. Id send a picture but I’m not with my camper now. Take a look and I think you’ll see what I mean.

I wish it was that easy!! Nothing is ever that easy for me!
There are no gears on the outside anywhere. The slide bars go through the frame and inside the underbelly.

Sooooo this is what happened!!

I have another thought.....
The reason this happened is the seal on the motor side somehow got stuck to the caulking on the slide, no idea why this would happen! So the motor side was stuck when I attempted to extend the slide not knowing it was stuck but then it broke free and the slide extended out.

So my question..... is it the motor side that jumped 3+ teeth (118.5 showing) when it broke free?
I'm now thinking the motor side is the side I need to adjust (push slide in) to match passive side. More I think about it the more sense it makes.

Passive side is showing 115 teeth.

What do you guys think??
