Is this normal for trim?

Just wondering if this is normal, looks like they used end of a roll or my trailer was made on a Friday? Or is this normal or something missing.

If your rig is used, that plastic "T" trim has been known to shrink over time due to temperature changes.

They are normally just pushed into that slot cut into the board. There is a small barbs on the leg that holds it in place.

I would not have noticed that unless I'm laying on the floor. I will look at mine next time I'm out there.

Normal shrinkage.
You might be able to 'scoot' it to where the gap doesn't show.
My countertop trim did that...no help for it, though.

If the installer pulled too hard on the T-molding while installing it, what you see is the results. You can purchase T-molding from a number of online sources.

It seems one should get better quality for the price, but!

My trailer came "good enough". I have made many parts of it, inside and out, better than new and customized to my liking. I enjoy doing this, but for those who rightfully expect a well-made item for big bucks, I can understand your frustration.

This forum is really good for pointing you in the right direction for getting what you need or want.
