Is this okay to leave on while driving?
I installed this on water heater vent and also installed some strips on A/C (not pictured). Planning to install the screens on furnace exhaust once a larger size arrives from Amazon.
Is it okay to drive with these installed?

I'm sure it will tell you in the brochure from the manufacturer, but if it is just a snap on I would install screws. Better safe than sorry....

Where would I put screws? It's metal all around.

I have a similar screen on the furnace exhaust (rectangular, held on with spring clips). Hasn't moved in 2 years of highway driving at speeds up to 60MPH.

2 trailers over 5 years, no problem leaving them installed.
You have the furnace screen ordered, that’s good. The springs to hold them on work fine for us. Look into fridge screens too.

I installed the fridge screens today, but I need additional zip ties to close the gaps better.

The ones I have are held in place by springs. No need to take them off while traveling. Mine have stayed put.

Had the springs and screens on both of our trailers and never had any problems with them falling off. The springs will keep them on.

X5. Had them on for years with no problem. They're made to leave on and travel.

My screen hasn't moved since I installed it. Put 5-6,000 miles on it this past fall. They are meant to latch on via the provided springs and then just stay there.

Thank you, everyone.
Looks like we are good to leave.them on.
I just checked Amazon, and my furnace exhaust screen won't arrive until Feb 23-28! (Why am I paying for prime? I need that thing yesterday.)
I'll wrap a plastic bag around it while it's in storage.
Hoping I got the right one.
You're all a wealth of information, and we appreciate your advice on these things.
