I just did the same thing with our TT. I parked it beside our garage now for the winter yesterday.

And that's one of the reasons I love the south.

I winterized today. Just drained everything and blowed it out with air, no antifreeze yet. It is supposed to freeze tonight but it won't last long. I know I will have another trip this year before it really gets cold!

winterized
What is this thing you call WINTERIZED?????
I just arrived at Palm Desert, have the air going, it's 90 + but should cool down to the mid to high 80's the rest of the week. Some hate California but this is 1 of the reasons I love it.
Oh yea, I just got home Thursday from a 4 day motorcycle ride up the central coast of Calif. Would have been gone longer but had to be home to get the trailer ready.

Yeah, if this cold snap keeps up much longer I might have to stop wearing shorts and short sleeved shirts.

All this talk of winterizing has got me sick. We're heading to Crystal Cove State Park (Beach) next weekend which may be the last trip in our Hybrid until we upgrade to a 28BHBE which is on order. It's supposed to be high 70s, but it will be a little chilly at night (low 60s) *ok you can laugh*. I don't know what we would be if we couldn't camp all year long!

Water system protected with antifreeze since Friday. Pulled the last of the food out Saturday. Positioned for the winter Sunday.

Still have to give it a bath. Then cover it after it dries. Next weekend.

Drained the H2O from my TT this past weekend. Will remove the battery for storage next weekend. I have not bought a cover yet but will do so by the end of the month and cover it for the winter. This is what you do in the Northeast when you can't go South for the winter. LOL

Why did you cover it? I winterized mine last weekend but plan on many more weeks of camping. I bought a Base Camp AquaCube Portable Water Heater/Shower. That, and a Mr. Buddy heater I'm good to go for a long time yet.
Go take that cover off and have fun.
