J Steel Sofa Bed Weight Limit

Does anyone know if there are any weight restrictions for the J Steel sofa bed? When it's folded out, the edge hanging over the isle seems pretty springy. I'm afraid of anyone other than a small child rolling over to get up or sitting on the edge and bending the frame. Just curious.

Thanks,

Don't know a weight limit, but yours looks just like ours in the 22fb. I am 150' and slept on it for 3 weeks last yr with no problems except that I had to sleep diagonally because of short length.

I Called Jayco today and they said this J Steel has a weight limit of 250lbs "static." She further explained "static" to be weight not moving around. I assume what that means is 250lbs spread across the bed surface, not concentrated along the edge. I think I'll keep this bed for kids only.

When a teen or adult sleeps on there I ask them to stay close to the back (wall) edge.
