I have a 2003 jayflight 27bh. where should I place the floor jack for removing wheels? My quess is the frame just fwd or aft of the wheel being removed, is that right?

Rather than jacking you may want to roll the tire you're not removing onto leveling blocks which will lift the other tire off the ground.

I've lifted my tt by putting the jack under the spring and axle with a length of 2x4 in between to spread the load. Having said that check the owners manual for the correct location on your tt.

I bought a ramp specifically designed to drive one wheel up on and it lifts the other one off the ground. Beats using a jack and it is alot cleaner too

To clarify what Seann45 said. Place the jack on the frame.

From my manual, word for word, should be in yours too:

Locate the main frame of the trailer (it spans from front to back, just inside the tires)
To raise the RV, place the hydraulic or screw jack under the main frame rail. It must be just ahead of the front tire or just behind the rear tire.
