JaycoLovers,

Excellent modification moving your lithium battery to the bed box.

Surprising you found the furnace duct tubes crushed after removing the underbelly cover. Our 25RB is our fourth travel trailer. We found the furnace to be useless in all four trailers primarily due to the blower noise and high amount of propane consumed.

When dry camping in cold weather we use a portable Camco Wave 6 propane heater. For hookups we use a portable DeLonghi radiator. Both have adjustable settings, NO NOISE and nice even heat throughout the trailer. Better options if the furnace blower keeps you up at night.

We added an electric fireplace we first got the unit use it in place of the furnace when we have electrical hookups:

When we boondock, we throw an extra blanket or two on the bed and use the furnace sparingly (because of the noise and LP usage).

Solar Prep - Controller Wiring

I thought I would share these photos of the GoPower Solar Charge Controller wiring located behind the label in the wall. I've heard horror stories of owners not being able to find the wiring and/or not having the wires labeled. I guess I was lucky.

Toms Adventure,

No problems with our 2021 25RB countertop. Sounds like a factory defect.

Is your 25RB still under factory warranty?

I have a 2020 24RL. I also had delamination on my sunken kitchen sink.
I was able to lift up the area of delam a bit and get some gel superglue behind it,hold in place for a few minutes.
Then I ran a small bead of clear silicon sealant around the sink, has worked out well.
Not sure why Jayco didn't seal that area....

I would be worried about that shelf liner holding moisture and inducing rust on the propane shelf.

I have used the shelf liner in the propane tray for years over 3 trailers. I cut small holes in the liner for draining.

I never had any issue with rust using the liner. It's the metal to metal contact between the tanks and the tray you want to protect from rust
