Jay Feather 25RB Toilet Replacement

I plan to replace the plastic Thetford toilet in our 2021 25RB with a Dometic 310 toilet.

The Dometic 310 toilet is non-elongated, ADA height, ceramic bowl/plastic base, with a self closing enameled wood seat and a hand sprayer. I installed this excellent toilet in my former Rockwood TT.

Has any 25RB owner replaced their Thetford toilet with a Dometic 310 or 320?

Did the Thetford’s water inlet hose and connector line up with the Dometic or require a modification?

I don't have a direct response to your questions, but you may want to consider incorporating an in-line 'on/off' water valve behind the new toilet.

Also, a steel braided hose with the valve addresses connection 'line-up' issues....., just a thought

Bob, Thank you. Excellent help. I will add a shut off valve and SS braided hose. A much better set up than the straight toilet inlet hose the factory puts in.

@Camo4two
I know this thread is a couple years old, did you end up replacing the toilet? If so were there any changes that were needed, other than the on/off valve? I.E. were the threads on the connector the same etc?

I am looking to replace with this same toilet in our Jay Feather Micro. Did or does its bowl stick out more than the Theatford one?

TomC_AZ,

We did replace the original Thetford toilet with a Dometic 310 Standard Toilet. Comes with a slow close wood seat and hand sprayer. It does stick out a bit further than the Thetford. It is also 19.75” high which is much taller than the Thetford. Connects right up to my existing water line, no extra parts.

We have used this toilet on two former TTs and love it. The hand sprayer is a plus. Never any leaks.
