Jay Feather 27BH Maiden Voyage

We had our maiden voyage in my 2019 Jay Feather 27BH. We went to Poole Knob COE near Nashville, Tennessee.

The site was pretty unlevel, so it took some work. Also, since I'm a P3 newbie, I was nervous about unhitching and hitching but all that went well. Note to other P3 newbies: I was surprised at how much I could move the trailer/hitch using the breaker bar on the overcenter latches. I was mistaken, thinking I had to get the wedge seated.

While there this week, I installed mopeka tank gauges, levelmate Pro, and I really like these upgrades.

My 2002 Sierra extended cab with the 8.1 liter gasser did a beautiful job. It tows it quite well. I've only had this truck a year and a half but I really enjoyed having it.

It was great being able to break down Camp so easily. If this trailer is reasonably durable, I will love it. I already do. This is my fourth trailer so I know they are not perfect. I'm also pretty handy so I should be able to handle a lot of stuff.

We just upgraded from 24RKS to a 2020 27BHB Jay Feather, headed out on second trip in two weeks, the quality is pretty good. Our first one had no issues. This one a few cosmetic on the in side. We pull ours with a Ram 1500 happy travels to you.
