We have a 2018 and love it. Did some mods to it but bascally it is what we wanted right out of the box. Besides the Excursion loves it also, 3000 pounds less than our other trailer.

New guy here with Jayco, we also pick our Feather 27RL up this weekend. We are coming off of a 18ft camper that became to small. Sold it in 20 min of posting it on facebook. Had a hard time finding what we wanted. I always heard bad things about Jayco's and when we looked at this one, I knew it was it. It seemed to be much better quality from others. Some of the others I felt as if I could push my finger through the wall.

Have a 2020 Jayco RL and love it. Yes, windows and recliners are a luxury. Just moved into a motorhome and are selling our TT. Will miss the many perks and options but our new MH will keep us busy. Congrats and enjoy!!

My wife and I are thinking about upgrading from a 264BHW to the 28RLS. What size towing vehicle do you use for your trailer?
We have a 2020 F150 with a 3.5 turbo Eco-boost. It's plenty of truck for the 264 but not sure it will handle the heavier 28RLS.

We keep ours seasonally about 1/2 hour from the house, I move it in the spring and then in the fall with my friends 1 ton, I am getting a 3/4 ton in the spring. I think it’s just a little heavy for 1/2 ton
But we love the camper!! Just wish it had wall hugger recliners and 50amp with 2 ac’s otherwise it’s awesome

Thanx for the quick response.
I figuring your right that the 28RLS is just a little too heavy for my truck.

Maybe with a good hitch setup but it is pretty heavy and long for 1/2 ton, I have moved it with 3/4 ton and it wasn’t bad, no weight distribution Just on the ball

I have a Husky WDH and it works pretty good with our 264BHW.
Instead of the 28RLS, We're also looking at a Jay Feather 27RLS or a Jay Flight 265RLS. Both are about 500 lbs lighter than the 28RLS. My cousin pulls his 27RLS with his F150 with a 3.5 turbo Eco-boost with no problem.
I like the roominess of the 28RLS, "but a man's got to know his limitations".
