Jay Feather X218 or 228 AC question

now considering these units but due to living in south florida i am worried about the heat and have a non-ducted system for keeping cool when we sleep. would love to get some input there.

We have the 228. It does a great job of cooling down the trailer, but not having it tied to a thermostat to control the temp is a bit of pain. Not sure if there is a kit to add thermostat control?
