In April of this year we bought a new 2014 22FB. After taking it on a couple of trips, one for 11 days and another for 6 days, we found it was just to cramped even for the two of us. Additionally, my wife didn't like the height of the cabinets as she had to use a stool to get into any of them. The location of the main closet (in the bath) made all the hangers bounce off the hanging rod due to movement in the rear of the TT and I never found a solution for that problem. All in all it just didn't work for us.

This past weekend we traded it for a 2015 Open Range 216RBS. Open Range is another Jayco owned brand and the 216 has 2 very large slides and other features that address our issues with the 22FB and it doesn't weigh a whole lot more. It's really not a good apples to apples comparison as the Open Range cost about double what the 22FB cost.

Checked out these models and they are very nice! I think we'll look into it more. I really like the 27 footers! Too bad they jump from 21 feet up to 27. If they could make one that's 23 to 24 feet with those opposing slides it would be perfect!
