Jay Flight bathroom sink question
My sink stopper is always in the "plug" mode, is there a part missing or am I doing something wrong? I have to pry it out with my fingernails to let the water down.
Thanks, Ken

Not sure about your's, but our plug will stay up if rotated 1/4 turn.

Ours has the 1/4 turn plug. Only problem is running water will knock it from up to down. I am thinking about another type of plug.

Mine has a plug you turn a 1/4 turn to let water drain, but it always falls down with the water flow, just take out and lay it on the side until your done.

Ours is laying in the sink. If we need to plug it then we plug it.

I doubt Jayco designed the sink plug.

The problem seems to lie in the "notches" or lack thereof that are suppuosed to hold it in the 1/4-turn position. I will probably try to add some relief there; hacksaw blade, or triangle file comes to mind. If it had some decent notches to sit in it would stay in the "up" position much better.
Mine works now especially if you push down on it a bit in the up position, but I'd like to make it easier for the kids to use.

EXTremist hit on the solution. I took a triangle file & filed notches so the plug fits in the notches when turned a quarter turn. It has worked well for me. The plug stays open until I turn it to the closed position. Don't know why manufacturer of sink didn't do it right.

Thanks for the tip, I will do that little mod today with a triangle file.

There are no notches in my sink drain - just a smooth round bore - no big deal - will just hack saw off the lower portion of the stupid long plug and use like in the old days - in or out.

Interesting...makes me wonder how that one is supposed to work. With mine, and apparently some others, the answer is fairly obvious the plug turns 1/4 to sit on a raised area in the drain hole. Yours looks completely different.

A small thing really - don't mind just having a simple plug.
Overall pretty happy with my trailer.
On another note - going out for a week on the trailer's 2nd camping trip - want to check out this water coming out of the tank problem.
