Jay Flight Underbelly Insulation Problem

Hello: Has anyone ever seen this type of problem before? This is a new Jay Flight 23RB that has been out to a nearby park once. I noticed what looks like feces oozing out of the bottom, I do have the thermal package. A close inspection proved that it is some sort of underbelly insulation, I just don't understand how did it expand as it is hard...not soft. I have a call in to Jayco and am waiting for a response. Please see attached photos.
Thanks: Gary

I have it on mine too. It is spray expandable foam to seal up the gaps. Be glad it's there so mice and other rodents don't get in the underbelly.

Spray foam insulation.

Shame on the factory for not trimming it.

The underside of my uninsulated 19RD has that stuff coming out of everyplace a critter could possibly enter. Ugly but effective.

Had it on my new 2014 22FB.
I trimed it all up before the first trip.

Looks like yours had a little too much liquid sprayed in and the excess flowed back out as it was hardening.

I wish mine had this seepin' out from underneath! I could use it for a prank on my wife.

Completely normal as the spray foam expands. Looks like they did a good job in sealing it up. Mine looks the same.

Totally normal. As mentioned it is just foam used to plug all the holes.

On mine, they actually spray painted the small amount that was visible (but neatly trimmed) with black paint to match the underbelly. I don't know if that was the dealer that took that step to dress it up, or the factory.

If you ever remove the coroplast, it is important to reseal any gaps with the spray foam, like the ones around your black/grey spout. If you don't then mice will find your sealed underbelly a fine place to set up housekeeping.

Whoever sprayed that foam did a seriously sloppy job of it.
