Jayco 174 BH water heater bypass

Can anyone tell me the location of the water heater bypass and/or water pump?

Looking at some exterior pictures and the floor plan of the 174BH it appears that the water heater is located at the rear of the unit under the bunk so your bypass valves should be there too. Not sure about the water pump but run the sink and listen and you should be able to zero in on it.

That's what I thought too, but nothing visible from the outside after removing water heatet cover. Looks like I have to remove a panel under the bunk to access. Just wondered if anybody could confirm before I did that. It seemed like these two things should be more accessible. Thank you for the reply.

Water heater bypass is on the backside of the heater. So if it's under the bunk, should be a way to remove the top or side of the bunk to access it.

Thanks. Yes there's a panel held on by screws. I guess that's it. Any idea on water pump location? I suspect now its the same.

Most travel trailers I have seen have the wh and pump stuck in a small inacessable hole. Usually the bypass valves are very close to the wh.

I have a 174BH, the water pump and bypass are under the bunk. I had to remove a screw in the panel under the mattress. There are two panels under the mattress, the panel to the back is access to the valves and pump. While I was in there, I did notice they did a terrible job of screwing the pump to the floor. I moved the pump slightly and re-screwed it to the floor.
