Jayco 199MBS

Afternoon everyone! New 199MBS owner here. I got a few newbie questions and just looking for some feedback on what others have done.

We plan to do a lot of boondocking. (Live in GA and there are quite a few campgrounds within 250 miles that don't have hook ups...huge fan of Cades Cove area)

1. I've read around that the 199MBS is pre-wired for an Inverter, has anyone hooked one up? Where are the plugs? I see there is a 12V DC plug by the TV, I could just plug a simple one in there and use it for a bottle warmer/coffee pot?

2. I have the solar pre-equipped with an AGM battery. Should I upgrade straight to lithium to maximize power? Get a bookcase solar panel to help keep the battery charged?

3. What cover does everyone use when camper is not in use? I plan to install a metal carport in the future, but until then I want to protect the camper as much as possible.

Any other suggestions/modifications would be much appreciated. Looking forward to taking it out on many adventures with this family of 5!

Inverter as in 12v to 110 or 110 to 12v Inverter? All campers will have a 110 to 12v inverter built in. If you talking about 12v to 110v then it might have one like if it was a option from the factory. But you better have really good batteries.

110 to 12 is Converter. 12 to 110 is Inverter. The OP is referencing a feature the Micro has, and for all I know other trailers, called Inverter Pre-wire. I suspect that by now the OP has learned how nearly worthless that is, but if not there are a lot of good threads on the topic in the Light/Ultralight section, including descriptions about how some of us have added near fully integrated inverters.
