Jayco 242 - Ideas for removed fridge mod

Recently purchased a used 242BHS. I pulled the electric fridge out of the cook bay area next to the stove because we are rarely on shore power, and I thought it would be nice to have the storage. It also provides easy access to the hot water tank cutoff valves. Has anyone else done this? I was wondering if anyone had some cool ideas for this space. I like the idea of a drink cooler, just not 120V. Maybe a 12V fridge like this?

I was also thinking similar drawer slides to the grill, with a regular cooler on top.

Anyone have any "mods"?

I would think that cooler would suck down your batteries fairly quickly. And it says 40 degrees cooler than ambient temp, so if its 100 out the cooler temp is 60. Not good enough for storing food. Don't you have room for a propane fridge?

I agree, I looked at the specs after posting. I think guys that are serious about off-grid setups use Dometic coolers but I'm not looking to spend that kind of money. I'll look into propane.
