Jayco 24FBS Questions

We are seriously considering upgrading from our 2013 Jayco 197 to a 2015 Jayco 24FBS. There are a few questions I have. Is the Elite option worth it? Does it come with the roof ladder in that option or do you have to ask for it specifically?

The second question I have is, What is the measurement from the hitch receiver to the center of the rear tires? Can anyone provide that info for me? I have a concrete pad in the back yard currently and need to know if i have to expand it. The dealer didnt know and there isn't one around the area at other dealers to look at.

Our dealer here is giving us a 31% discount off MSRP. We would be trading in the 197 at a $900.00 loss. I didn't think that was too bad. Its in like new condition. We just didn't like the bed and lack of closet space. Someone was going to get crawled over at night in that bed.

If anyone has a 24FBS i would really like to hear your feedback, pros and cons.

We have the 24FBS and we really like it. It's a good size for two people for shorter trips. We have an elite version so we have the ladder, larger fridge, thermal package and some other extra odds and ends.
