Jayco 26L ceiling Replacement

I recently purchased a 2007 Jayco 26L and discovered after I got it home the ceiling inside is rotted out.

The ceiling was covered up with a 1/8 board typically seen at Menards or Lowes which is why I didnt catch the damage until later.

Originally the ceiling was white with a board which is what I want to go back to.

My question is two fold.

What kind of project am I getting myself involved in? I am a very handy guy with construction knowledge.

Second question how is the ceiling attached to the roof braces? Special glue?

From what I can tell (as I have been on the roof) the rubber roof looks like new which means they probably installed a new roof taking care of the problem.

I would appreciate any help you can give me on this as I am in the camper for the right price and able to do the repairs to bring her back to factory.

Any idea where to buy the roof material other than the factory?
