Jayco and Dealer Misrepresent TT Options

Bought fourth Jayco TT, a 2017 23RB. Optioned as Elite Package. All literature indicated this unit has "Thermal Package". "Thermal Package" sticker on unit. Under belly covered, but no heated floors as indicated by Jayco and Dealer. Look online for yourself. Neither Jayco nor Dealer is willing to correct their mistake.
I am not a full timer, but I camp in the winter and am very disappointed in being sold and having paid for something that was misrepresented by the Manufacturer and Dealer.
Now I am literally out in the cold.

If you mean the heated underbelly, there is an ongoing discussion regarding this issue.

Product misrepresentation

There is more Jayco product information available indicating heated floors for this unit than there is indicating the omission. This is my fourth Jayco TT in ten years, I know the product.

Jayco states in their 2017 model brochures on the Thermal Package "Insulated, heated and enclosed underbelly. (except 21QB, 24RBS, & 26BH) "

So, I would expect a heated underbelly in a 23RB with Thermal Package.

How much research and digging does the poor guy need to do. It's right here on Jayco's website when you hover over the Thermal Package option ? in clear English.

Jayco should
1. Fix the mistake on their website
2. Compensate the buyer misleading him with false advertising

Should he dig through every single thing Jayco publishes only to find conflicting information?

Only difference is they cut a couple of holes in the floor ducts to vent some warm air into the underbelly. If you have a ducted system, shouldn't be a big issue to cut a couple of holes in the aluminum ducting.

They work marginally anyway, good for maybe to 25 or so, then your on your own anyway. And if you don't use your furnace, but other heaters, , it does no good anyway.

If your going to camp in weather below 25 degrees for any length of time, I would bet your water lines will freeze at some point.

No one asked how useful or not useful the heated underbelly was.

OP paid for the package that’s supposed to include it and apparently his doesn’t for some reason. If it truely doesn’t and it should, then Jayco should correct it, and or compensate him, period. Their websites says it’s included.

Heated underbelly, yes.
Never heard of "heated floors"
How do you know you "don't have" heated underbelly?
Where does Jayco mention heated floors?

This is a dealership issue, NOT a Jayco issue. It is good that you posted the name of the dealership, to help others avoid them.
Regarding getting stuff fixed under warranty. I contacted Jayco personally and they did not have any issue authorizing an independent RV repair shop to replace the delaminated front panel on my trailer.

"Thermal Package: Insulated, heated (n/a on 23RB, 26BH) and enclosed underbelly and 2-sided reflective foil insulation in main roof and slideout floors"

The above is a direct quote from the 2017 Brochure for Jay Flight and Jay Flight SLX models.

Please note that all models with the Mandatory Elite Package have Insulated and enclosed underbelly. Also note when talking about it being heated, it specifically says the heated underbelly is NOT available on the 23RB and 26BH. It seems pretty clear to me.

The 2017 Brochure I have specifically says the 23RB and the 26BH does NOT have a heated underbelly. It does have an insulated and enclosed underbelly, but not heated.

Website is incorrect, 2017 Jayflight Brochure does state"N/A on 23RB and 26BH". I noticed this before purchasing my 26BH, than realized why once i got into the trailer. Doesn't matter to me, as i don't intend on camping where i need the floors heated or tanks. If it's that cold , my tank's are empty. Look at the bright side ( which i tend to do with Jayco), no floor heating vents means no dropping something small on the floor and it rolls to the vent and down she go's! Vents always seem to be tiny screw magnets, and dust ball and sand magnets too!

Man, i hate when someone posts this kind of reply. If you read the website, but don't have access to a brochure, than i can see why this individual is questioning it. There is an error on Jaycos part, but, like most things, they are protected. Sometimes i just shake my head!

But he also said dealer and literature, which would be the brochure.
