I have recently bought a 2016 Jayco Eagle 338rets. The owner decided to go with one a/c which is in the living room and in the bedroom it already has the wires and everything for a second a/c. They told me all I need to do is buy another a/c and it hooks right up. My question is can anybody help me understand what else I might need to hook up the second a/c?
Well it can be upgraded for what I have heard that the hardest part is putting it up on the roof, it's pretty easy then for what I have heard but other will chime in that had it done or have done one themselves.
It’s not hard to do. You need to take out the vent and it will drop right in. Make sure you have the gasket in place between the roof and the ac unit and you don’t over tighten the unit. I did one on a pop up a few years back, their was no wiring in the roof for an ac so I am not familiar with what your wiring will look like. But that should be fairly easy to figure out once you open it up.
