Jayco Eagle Slide Out Stuck Closed

I have a 2010 Jayco Eagle and the big slide out is getting stuck closed. The stop cup on the slide out actuator is getting pulled so hard against the frame that it’s bending the frame in and the slide out motor is not able to re-open the slide out. I have tried adjusting it but it keeps getting stuck closed. Any ideas? Thanks!

Can you wedge a bottle jack in there to gently push it open? Or a vehicle jack?

I can get it back open by putting a wrench on the end of the motor shaft like you were going to manually extend it and having someone tap the slide out button. That's enough to get it to un-bind. It's not realistic to have to do that every time though.

Sounds like something is binding or it needs adjusting. If I’m understanding you, I think the nut that allows you get the slide to pull in tighter or not as much needs to be adjustment.

The stop cup is binding against the frame. If I adjust it out the room starts coming in too far to where something is about to break.

I don't have that type slide but you should be able to find some help on the LCI website. Mine has a stop nut for each direction of travel that is adjustable.
