I've had no problem with my small BR slide. The problems I've read about on this forum were concerning the Schwintek large slides getting out of sync or failing. My particular concern with them is how to get the slide in if something electrical fails. They're a bit harder to get in manually than other brands and types of slides.

Chances are pretty good that you'll never have a problem, I'm just anal about making sure I know what to do if a failure occurs.

No problems in the two years we've had our Eagle, except the switch. Seems my wife cannot tell the difference between it and the one for the awning. The other day she was wanting to bring the awning in and just a rapid clicking sound. She told me the awning wasn't working. I asked her to try putting it out, and the side started to move.
She claims that'll never happen again but last season I covered the slide switch with paper, so it continues.

There are You Tube videos that describe how to push them in manually.

Bought 2014 Eagle 318 RETS A couple of years ago. All 3 slides malfunctioned. Took about a month to get parts and repairs.

Thumbs up

I've had mine for just over 2 years - full-timing in it for a year & 7 months. I love everything about it, but especially the interior height! Sidewalls 6'' taller than most, plus the arched roof/ceiling make the inside "feel" much larger. I've not had a bit of trouble with my slide.
