I was looking to have my TT roof worked on as the plywood under the roof membrane has significant weak spots along edge on driver side from water damage and came across this shop in GA. https://www.rvroofinstall.com. They have a youtube channel showing the work as they go through a unit. The videos are anywhere from 30-60 minutes depending on how extensive the job is.

I liked the stuff they did and appears that they will do the work correctly. Never been there nor know anybody that has. But did call them last week and got a quote of $7200 on my 2006 Jayco Flight 26 BHS (right around $300 a linear foot). I elected not to have it done as TT not worth it as I only use the TT for deer hunting once a year for about a week and the rest of the time it is in storage. (I have a 5th wheel for clamping ). Also the earliest opening they had was Dec/Jan 20/21.

Good luck, just make sure you have someone reputable do it no matter the distance.

Looks like it. It appears even the fridge vent is melted. I don't know, hard to believe the A/C did all that damage. It almost looks like the trailer was in a forest fire, and the whole roof melted?

Hard to say no awning damage, as it looks funky. If it isn't damaged, why does it look like it rolls up on the underside part of the roller and not on the topside? Wouldn't the spring cause it to roll up the awning clockwise (as view from picture) instead of counter-clockwise (as it looks like in picture)?

If you continue to press the extend/out button, it will roll up that way. This one looks burned through at the gutter.

It's not even attached to the rig. You can see daylight between the roller and the roof.

I was thinking that at first, but couldn't see pavement or fencing. It appears that the awning fabric may be camo colored. That is why I thought it was rolled up backwards. Hard to tell, maybe OP can chime in and let us know for sure.

Are you sure you have not been parked close to a Volcano lately,,that would describe how only the roof was damaged. I just do not understand how the A/C could catch fire And only damage the roof covering. When somebody figures this out Please, Please let us know.

As a past firefighter, this one intrigues me, sure hope OP gets back with an update. But here's my best "guess". Looks like that is tree debris(leaves, twigs??) between awning and trailer body.
I wonder if there could have been enough debris on the roof that the fire spread over the roof with the debris as the fuel. I cannot fathom any other reasonable theory for that specific type damage to the roof and what appears to be no structural damage. Again, just spit balling here.

Cleaning w gasoline and a mop while smoking? With OP bailed on us, we're free to wildly speculate, right?
