Is it the same mattress? If Jayco will replace it with a good mattress, it would be worth complaining to the dealer about. If they replace with the same mattress, there's no point. After the first night's sleep, the mattress showed indentations from where we slept.

There are cases reported by members here where they complained and got $100 toward a new mattress of their choosing. So if $100 or so is worth a few minutes of complaining then why not. If it takes days of going back and forth, then I would agree with you and I would just replace it.

With our dealer, it'd take a month of complaining. That's how long it took to begin to get the mattress addressed. Another two months to actually get the replacement. Funny thing is even after picking it up, they keep calling us to come and get our mattress.
Initially, they wanted the whole camper brought back to them (an hour each way) for the sagging mattress. That was a week of arguing with everyone up to the owner.

Mine wallowed out after 2 nights. (I ain't heavy)
But, my back feels better after a night in the trailer than anywhere else I've slept in the last year.

Yes, it's a lousy mattress. No, I'm not going to replace it.

We've camped in it for a total of 8 nights since we bought it about a month ago and its already got holes on both sides where we lay. My wife refuses to sleep on it so we're going to have to shop for a new mattress.

Has anyone else had this problem?
I think your conciseness goes across the board for all Jayco's.Read yesterday about a product call LUCID 3"Gel Memory mattress about 100 bucks on Amazon.Seemed to have pretty good reviews!

We bought our a 3 inch topper before we ever took it on a trip,,,that bed is hard and , honestly a joke. The 3 inch topper and a nice thick matress cover did the trick.

All RV mattress's are junk. The ones that are supplied are a little better then a sofa mattress. If you want a good one buy a residential Mattress. We have the top of the line Serta we sleep very well.

Our Dealer DID replace our mattress. Unfortunately our new trailer was nearly totaled in a hail storm. We took the money and traded it, for a jayco feather lite. I think it has the same Simmons residential mattres. Haven't used it yet to report, but clearly Jayco should be avoiding these at all cost in their new trailers, or there will be many claims and replacements.

We just purchased the 2017 Jay Flight 32BHBS, agree, the mattress is terrible! Every part of me goes to sleep accept my brain!! 😂
If you put a nicer mattress or a thick memory foam will it not make it to heavy for the struts that lift it to get to the under bed storage?

We replaced our OE mattress with thishttps://www.amazon.com/Zinus-Master-...en+memory+foam and it weighs in at about 59 lbs. Not that much difference in weight, and the bed struts hold it fine. I have to mention, we did replace the struts this spring with new ones, but the same pressure (100 lbs). The old ones wore out after four years.

My struts hold the Serta residential mattress just fine. WE spend 6-8 weeks a year in the RV and get the same restful sleep we get at home. Remember if you stayed in a 4 star hotel you would spend $150-$225 a night why not just buy your self a good quality night sleep for your RV and be done with it.

We have a 2017 jayflight 32BDSW and our mattress was like sleeping on the sidewalk with a pillow. We bought a memory foam topper and its like night and day difference.

We always add a 2" memory foam topper to ours. Makes a big difference without having to spend money for a new mattress. If you decide to go that route, I recommend getting one that says it has "cooling gell". Our old one slept hot, but this new one is much better.
