Jayco/Starcraft Differences

I've been looking at a 2016 JAY FLIGHT SLX 264BHW and a 2016 Starcraft AR-ONE MAXX 26BH. Floor plans are identical. The Maxx is 270 lbs lighter though. What would it be missing compared to the Jay Flight ? I noticed that the gray/black water tanks are smaller. Did they save weight/coast by cheaper construction, less options ?

You have to remember that everything put into all TT/FW do not always weigh the same that is why most are weighed before they leave the factory. Just like every 2X4 doesn't weight the same. There could have been subtle weight differences when the prototypes were built and weighed. Since they come out of two different plants I wouldn't be too concerned about 270 lbs.

Print out both spec sheets and see what, if any, differences are listed as far as standards.

I believe the Jay flight is wood frame and the star craft maybe aluminum. As I remember. Sure someone will correct if wrong
