The speakers do suck. Unfortunately, the Polks, being great speakers, won't sound much better because the trailer wall isn't a good enclosure for projecting sound.
We beat the entire issue by purchasing a blue tooth wireless speaker called an SB3 Plus from SYB. The sound is top shelf and the price is right.
It connects via other methods as well which was our prime reason for selection since we have a syrius rcvr that plugs directly into the speaker with a mini aux cable and that way we can use it at the beach, at the campfire, sitting under the awning during rain, etc. We actually prefer it inside the trailer as well. You get the picture. Check it out on line and see if it's not a more cost effective solution. I think Boost Mobile also are peddling these.
