Jayfeather 213x Rear Slide Problems

We have a 2012 213x with a power rear slide bed. The last few times we had it out the bed doesn't slide out or in all the way and we have to hand crank it to setup or take in the remaining way (not to far just annoying). Motor doesn't sound bad. Any ideas on what the problem or fix might be?

If I remember correctly there was a motor upgrade or something that future X213s benefited from, but I'm not 100% positive on that.

We bought our 2011 X213 and in 2011 and at the time some of the slide motors being installed in the new X213s were under sized. We were lucking getting the more powerful version and have not had any problems. I don't remember if Jayco did a recall or just dealt with the problem on a case by case basis. I would contact Jayco.

I would definitely check your BATTERY setup. The battery adds more current capacity to the system even when you are plugged into shore power.

Next time you try it nose your truck up to the battery position and clip in your jumper cable...

This certainly helps my large trailer slide outs...

I have the same problem with a 2019 x213. Were you able to fix the problem? How do you hand crank the last two inches?
