Jayfeather versus Jayflight SLX 8

Is the Jayfeather worth the extra price over the Jayflight for comparable floor plans?

I would say Yes depending on exactly what you are looking for in a trailer. Keep in mind that the SLX is the lower end of Jayco's model offerings as far as equipment is concerned. Moving to the Feather will give you some options that may or may not be offered on the SLX. My Feather has gas/electric water heater, aluminum wheels, fiberglass exterior, etc.
The difference in cost is easy in my mind to justify since you are getting higher level of equipment.

Also keep in mind that the Feather is a light weight constructed trailer. You may want to read about the specific construction of each unit and see what meets your needs best.

We have a Jay Feather and felt it was worth the extra dollars to upgrade to it rather than by a Jay Flight. The options and the exterior fiberglass we're what we were looking at as well as what we thought was a better fit and finish then the lower priced unit. We have been very happy with our decision. Our model is a 2017 RLSW 23'
