Jayflight 185BH shades
I have a 2015 185BH and it has shades and at the top of the shade is about a 1 3/4 gap that at night makes it easy to see in the camper, has anyone else noticed this and how did you fix?
I was thinking of changing to mini blinds, or would it be easier to somehow add curtains?
Thanks.

Bob, both TT's we've owned had valences that covered the top of the shade and window. Is yours a pre-owned? Maybe the PO removed it due to ???.

Mine has Valences, top and Lambrequins, (sides). I noticed on the newer rigs that have eliminated the Lambrequins on many models.
I'll bet someone removed them.

Any way to move it closer to the window? Mine are anchored to the top of the valence.

I was thinking of trying that, it would cover the screws holding the valance but I don't think that would be a problem. Not sure how hard it will be to get to the screws.
Thanks

The bracket is easy to get to once the shade snaps off.
I have removed my valence to get to it before. I don't think there is any continuity to the mounting, just have to look at and figure how to get it down the reverse of how it went up.
Most I have seen are hanging on a "L" shaped bracket at the top and maybe one on the side also.

I had no idea what those were called. But without them we might have the same gap. Our shades are attached at the top of the valence as well. Moving the mounts closer to the window might help. Mini blinds might also help.
Are all your windows like this?

Yes, all windows are the same, except the one on the bunk has a Curtin.
