JayFlight 26RKS .....interesting

Anybody out there have one of these? Specifically the floorplan with the side bunks? Either way, can you tell me about your 26RKS? What you tow with, and how you like it?

Thanks!

I have a 2007 25RKS, no bunks tho.

I tow with a 2011 Ford F150 5.0 SCREW. I also use and equalizer hitch. No problems towing up and down I-17 from Phoenix to Flagstaff, lots of elev change. :hihi:

My wife loves the RKS portion, I wish now that we would have purchased the newer model that the slide is larger and the large closet also slides out. The area outside the bathroom is a bit narrow for me. 6'2" 265lbs....

Kitchen placement is nice and the rig does well in 40-50 mph wind gusts while camping. Ask me how I know....

We also have a 2007 25RKS. I love the rear kitchen. It is perfect for the two of us and our pug. Tons of room. We tow with a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel.

We have the 256rks, It was the only floorplan my wife and I really liked and yes the bathroom is a little small. we wish it had a shower stall instead of a tub. We do love the trailer though and would by another

Not quite the same, but we have a 2010 24RKS. Much nicer than our previous rig, a 29-ft bunkhouse Dutchmen. Better quality, great floorplan, and more storage than we could ever use. We tow it with a Sierra 1500 crew cab.

Pics

We really like this trailer for the footprint. It's just a hair over 28' total length and it seems to be extremely roomy. Also, all the room in front of the queen bed up front. Most bh's have that wall right up against the foot of the bed....I'm kinda tall so that would have annoyed me. None are perfect, but this one seemed to fit the bill anyways.....We can't wait to get it!!

See all the pics below:

Neat trailer. First pics of one I have seen with the bunks in the slide, the floorplan pic does not even show that option. Enjoy!

That looks like a very nice floorplan.

I like the floor plan you picked. The sofa with the bunks.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out why you want the dinette when it already comes with an eating area that you cannot change. Course that could just be my lack of imagination working here.

Congrats on your new TT!

I like that. I had thought about ordering one, but instead of the dinette, swivel rockers. We found the 26RLS and got a good deal so we went with this one.

Congrats on your trailer. I just picked up my 26rks with the sofa and two rocking chairs instead of the bunks. However I do have a question for you. My trailer did not come with a tv. I was wondering if you could tell me the name brand of the tv mount that you have from the factory? I am getting no help from my dealer on this and I would like to install the same mount as Jayco installs because I know it will fit in that location. Thanks and happy camping.

I will check and see if I can come up with a brand name.

Jimmy, Love, love, love the 26RKS!!! We have the 32bhds now, which fits our needs perfectly for 3 kids. Plus, we love the outdoor kitchen. I'm sure we'll downsize in few years when the teenagers leave for college and that model will be one we think of first.

I thought we would down size as well when the kids left. Well this summer I purchased my new 32 TSBH. It is bigger and roomier than the one I traded in. When the kids move out, before you know it they are married and then come the grand kids! I needed more room!!

We picked up a 2015 26RKS yesterday. We do not have the bunks--hard to believe this is the same model.
