JayFlight 27BHS Bunk Mod question and other mods...

My wife and I just placed an order for our first Jayco a Jay Flight 27BHS. We have an infant and a 2 1/2 year old and are trying to figure out some sort of rail for the curved bunk bed entrance area. Also are there any other mods anyone could suggest that we might wanna do right away. I think a double battery bank possibly 2 6 volt golf cart batteries is on the horizon since we do quite a bit of dry camping. Anything else?

Maybe it will be too tall but what about one of those clamp in barriers that you put at the top of stairways? Just because the bed is curved on the end doesn't mean they are big enough to need all the space.

Shelves in the closets and plexiglass across the lower portion of the screen door come to mind.

Our bunks are not curved but i am cutting a standard bed rail down to fill 3/4 of the hole so the 2 y/o can still get out of bunk if needed but still keeps her from rolling out of it.
