I believe any trailer over 3,500 pounds uses a 2 5/16" ball and a 29' trailer would surely use a 2 5/16". As a sidenote: some 2 5/16" balls are only rated at 6,000 pounds so I would avoid those. Get at least a 10,000 rated one for only a few dollars more. My problem was getting it torqued to 400 ft/lbs as recommended by my weight distribution hitch manufacturer.
