JayFlight Main Screen Door...Is Yours Tight??

We just took delivery of a 2016 28BHBE and I discovered that the main screen door does not close tightly when it's latched. In particular, the upper corner is not tight against the frame, leaving a pretty decent space between the edge of the door and the frame, and I'm worried it will be a bug issue. I know the door is wider than most doors offered by other manufacturers, so I'm just wondering if we got a bad door, or if it is not uncommon to have the door not be tight. When the main door itself it closed in combination with the screen, it is tight. This is just the screen door when closed by itself.

Thanks.

I had to push mine around a little to get it to fit properly. Mine was tight on the bottom corner.

Hopefully it sounds like an adjustment issue.

We have the same issue on our new 2015 White Hawk 23MBH. After three outings we now know it is the door itself, not the way the trailer is sitting. The back screen door has a very large gap at the top right corner - the side it opens on- that is about 3/4 inch at its widest point. The gap extends down about a foot, narrowing as it approaches the door handle. The front door has a similar but less pronounced gap in the same location. We have been using wide painter's tape to seal the gap on the back door, though it means you can't open the screen door itself. We are taking the trailer in for some tweaking in a couple of weeks and hope this is an adjustment issue.....

I have the same trailer Samsvan, 2015 White Haw 23MBH and I have to have it looked at along with some other issues. My gaps in the door aren't as big though. I'm going to use it as long as possible this summer before taking it in for warranty work. I have to say I really like our trailer though!

Be sure to get it adjusted or you will bust out the plastic slide that covers the door handle trying to close or open the screen door. That's what happened to mine at any rate...

I don't know if I can glue it back together or not... Probably not hard to find on-line. I did find this photo haha...
