JayFlight Slide Issue

We received our new 2018 28 BHS in October. Been out twice. Getting ready to go this weekend when the slide stopped working. Motor turned just no slide in or out. It was in the shop for minor adjustments in February and seemed to work ok except I felt it was “laggy”. Never had a slide before so figured it was normal. No strange noises, squeaking, scrapes etc. I crawled under it, found an access door and found what is pictured below. My belief is that there is so much give in the thin metal that it allowed one of the pins to come out of the bracket. Maybe one bracket wasn’t tight to the ram (probably calling it the wrong thing) either. Either way, I think it had ran on just one bracket for some time before it bent and gave up. I also feel this was the lag I felt because the ram was able to twist and the slide didn’t respond instantly like it should. Ugh. I “fixed” it good enough and got it working. Took to dealer and they adjusted it so we can use this weekend but are pushing Jayco into replacing the whole slide track. Just seeing if anyone has had this before?
