Just got home with our 26BH

Three campsites in three days after picking up our Jay Flight 26BH on Friday and I learned a lot!

1. Raising the electric tongue jack too high will blow a fuse and this one isn't located with the others inside the camper. It's an inline fuze near the junction box where the tongue A-frame goes through the main frame.

2. The 35 ft 30 Amp cord that comes with it is way too short when your power pole is on the opposite side of the camp site.

3. Full 84 gallon fresh water tank makes a HUGE difference in handling and gas mileage.

4. The tongue foot pad has a couple more holes to extend it down.

A couple questions for others with the 26BH:

Is there a trick to getting the USB ports working in the master bedroom or do they only work when you're on shore power?

Is your bumper mount BBQ crazy low, or did the dealer install the wrong kind?

Congrats on the new trailer. Your learning already lol. Can't answer your questions. Where are the USB ports in the master bedroom? Assuming next to the power outlet beside the bed? Are there USB ports on both sides? Sorry curious...

Very nice. I don't know if our new camper has one or not... Pick it up Friday. Hope it does. Again congrats and looking to see what answers you get so I will learn as well.

Im not 100% on the usb ports as i have only used them so far while on shore power. Will have to try them while not.
But yes the bumper mount bbq is crazy low. It is sadly the right one. Im going to be making up a new bracket for mine to get it higher.
Congratulations on the 26BH. We are happy with ours.

Congrats!

I have last years model I think. No USBs at all.

Check your hot water heater to make sure it works. I see a number of folks with problems there on delivery, mine was bad too - not the whole thing, just a part.

Other than that I've loved the thing ever since we picked it up, the dealer not so much.

Have fun! This is an awesome forum.

We've only camped twice in our new trailer, both times dry camping, and the wife was over the moon that the USB station worked off the battery. And quick too. Laptops, Ipads, cellphones all charged up for your camping enjoyment.

BTW my trailer has 2-6V batteries.
