Just took Delivery!

Waaahoo!! We just took delivery of our 2021 Eagle RSTS here in North Georgia!

Having a ball figuring everything out, but a hard time locating the water supply on/off for the whirlpool refrigerator but we’ll find it sooner of later..

The whisper-quiet AC certainly lives up to its name.

This TT is a whole lot different than our ForestRiver TT!

Congrats

Jealous of the new camper AND the fact that you have the balls to turn on the AC this time of year hehehe. So fun getting a new camper, and welcome to the site. I'm sure someone can help you with the water and all the other questions you are bound to come up with.

Thanks everyone.. what a great group!

We figured out the water issue to the refrigerator. It wasn’t the main cut-off valve.. we have a separate “fresh water” tank and water delivery system on the sink. That water is provided via a 5gal bottle of water. We placed one in, turned on the pump and once pressure built up, it not only fed the fresh water faucet, it also feeds to water line for fresh water and ice to the fridge... easy stuff, but... had no idea!

The layout is fantastic. Absolutely worth the wait! Lots of little cool surprises around every corner.

PDI went extremely well. No real issues other than the corner of the paneling in the pass-through storage area had a screw missing. Easily resolved and hit the threads with a bit of lock tight.

When we got set up at our site and applied city water, there was a small “drip leak” under the sink. The cold water line was missing thread tape and I fixed that so no worries there.

Very very minor stuff in my opinion. Others may say these were quality control issues, but.. bottom line is this; as new Jayco owners.. we are pretty dang happy!

Congratulations. We also just brought home our
(new to us) 2016 Jayco JayFlight 23MDS. It is fun to learn the unique things of the RV. And I agree with your comment, great group to get to know.

I knew about the 5 gal bottle but didn't know if fed the fridge. You just saved me some time, thanks and enjoy your new camper!

The only way I figured it out was that when I turned on the pump to the 5gal bottle, I pressed the water delivery button on the fridge and could feel air pushing out... turn off that pump and air quit. Once we placed water into the bottle I bled the line of air and out the fridge it came....

As a side note, remove the ice container in the freezer side and make sure the power button is turn “On” so it’ll start pulling the water to the ice maker.

I believe you stole my dog. Ours is a rescue. The Vet says she is an Alaskan Husky.
