Can you send a kid through one of your storage compartment doors?

Grind down a hacksaw blade leaving the teeth only on one side. Slide the blade in the lock along the key with the teeth facing the key. You should be able to pull out the broken key this way.

Find a Harbor Freight Store... they sell a cheap lock picking kit. Use the hook tool to pull the broken part out.

Hire a locksmith who can probably remove the broken piece and you won’t need a new lock.

On ours, the deadbolt is the only one that has an interior selector so sending a child in should work.

This was my thought as well. I had to limbo into ours the first winter we had it as the locks iced up. No fun, but I survived

I sent the kid in, one spring! We store our HTT a 100+ miles from home near my parent's place. When we called the farmer a few weeks earlier, he said we could not pick up the TT due to 4+ feet of snow was still in front of the barn. As we were almost up to my parents (Barn is 10 miles from their place) the barn called, stated he spent the last 3 days moving snow so we could get it. Oh "crude", we have no keys with us, and we are 100 miles from home. Used our parents CH751 key to get in through the cargo hold, to get the hitch.

Yes you can open it from the inside even if the key is broken off in the lock. Have someone lock you in and keep the key in the locked position and from the inside just turn the little red knob over and it unlocks.

Make sure you are comfortable getting them back out if they can't unlock the door. A little one may have a hard time getting back under the bed or opening a window to get out.

On our doors there is a way to lock it so you can't open it from the inside. I just don't recall if it's the deadbolt or the regular latch.
