I hope I can just take the It is just the hoop part that peeeling hopefully I can just take it in and not have to take in our whole trailer.

Yeah hopefully they can send you one as towing a trailer now any distance, with the price of fuel, would cost more then the faucet is worth!

I don't mind driving there, it is about 30 miles but for what it is it seems pointless to take the whole trailer. We may come up with a few more things after camping this upcoming weekend.

I had a bathtub fixture crack in my prev trailer. It was under warranty so I took it back to the dealer for repair. it took a week and a half to get the part from Jayco and get it installed. Looking through the catalog, I saw that the fixture only cost around $25, so all things considered and with the price of gas, the next time a fixture needs replacing, I'll go to home depot, but something quality and be done with it. Standard bathroom fixtures fit all of these trailers. The manufacturers use cheap components to keep their unit costs down. If it's a trailer that I'm going to keep for a while, I would rather have quality stuff in it.

Great point. I just don't want to give any reason to void a warranty at this point. Here is a pic

That appears to be the same faucet we have in our Jayflight, only it is cream in color.

Derek700, just wondering why that happened. Did you drain the faucet or leave the faucet closed when you winterized? It looks like water froze the pipe and cracked it...or expanded it to where the white finish cracked. If that "may" be the case, the warranty may not fix it.

We did winterize it and had a heater in it as well, our temps barely got below freezing this year as well. I just opened my low point drains to get the fluid out and had to crack the taps to get it to drain. We are going camping this weekend so have a little more prep to do. It looks like maybe the area wasn't prepped when the coating was added. I will see what happens if there is an answer to this I will let you know what it is.

I remember someone else having trouble with a faucet, they called Jayco and they sent them a new one no questions asked. I think it was on this forum but I`m not for sure.

looks like a stress peel..like it was forced backwards...if it costs $25 bucks at HD, Jayco should send you a new one with no issue..I hate anything powder coated..

I have seen a couple of faucets do that, but luckily none of mine. Is it hard to turn left to right? I wonder if it is partially caused by the lock flange at the base being too tight?

I had the same thing happen to mine. I ended up getting a new one from Amazon. The easiest way to replace the faucet is to disconnect the drain pipe, the faucet pipes and loosen the screws that hold the sink. Then, just lift the sink up and out of the countertop.

Derek,
Did you call Jayco directly? My 2010 Jay Feather has the same faucet, and is doing the same as your, not quite as bad, but still peeling.
Thanks

Emailed pics to the dealer and they contacted Jayco who are sending out a new tap. I was wondering if it was a common problem. I don't want this to come across as though Jayco isn't covering it. It seems like they may have had a bad run of taps.
