If we end up with a TT that doesn't have a ladder, what kind of ladder would you recommend?

I would want something that could be used to check the roof out before/after trips and to remove any branches, etc.

The sturdiest ladder you can afford and are capable of lifting. Seriously.

I used to have a cheap A frame ladder for work around the house. 4 years ago, I was painting some trim on the house on that ladder and it shifted. I fell from 3' up, landed on a metal window well and broke my tibia and fibula. I have a Little Giant knock-off now and they are way more sturdy than a $40 A frame. Werner 17 ft.
