Leak in gray tank drain line

2010 Jayflight 25RKS. I accidently closed drain valve on kitchen gray tank while it was draining. It appears this caused a leak in the line. Have constant dripping from line a few feet toward tank away from valve. Has anyone had similar problem? I plan on getting some eterna bond tape and wrap around pipe unless damaged section is larger then tape could patch. I will do repair at next camp ground due to access at present site.

Closing the valve while draining will not cause a leak. It is only gravity feed. Check the pipe out closely to see if it is cracked (which would be unrelated to shutting the valve). If so, and if it is ABS you should be able to patch it with ABS cement. Do not wrap it with Eternabond tape. It will make a bigger mess when you need to fix it right. Depending on your location Lowes, hardware or RV store will have the cement. A small piece of window screen or fiberglass cloth works for reinforcement but might not be necessary. If the pipe were badly cracked a flexible PVC coupling could be used once the pipe is cut in 2 at the crack. Also check that the valve is not loose. There are only 4 bolts. It might help to remove it completely to verify that the blade seals are in place. Do not overtighten at assembly. The valve will not be easy to operate.
