Leaking slide out

Hello all. I have an 06 Jay Flight 26BHS. As I was walking around the trailer then other night I noticed light at the top of the slide out, lots of light. I got back in the trailer and pushed on the slide out and it moved about four inches until it contacted the wall. When I look at the slide out it appears to be wider at the bottom than the top. Are the seals easily replaceable? Is there an adjustment for the slide out to makenot come out even? Thanks!

It sounds like the slide out didn't extend to its full open position when the button was pushed.
Does it retract correctly and seal tight?

Hello, thanks for the reply. It seems to go in and seal just fine. I'll know more tonight when I get in there as it rained all weekend. If it's not sealing while closed I'll see the water on the bare wood floor. When it comes in ot doesnt seem to hang or anything. When I open the slide I hold the button until the slides clicks once then I let it go so I don't damage the gears. I'm going to see if I can adjust it this evening. Thanks again. I wonder if the seals are just shot, it sat closed up for three years before I bought it.

Those seals can deteriorate over time, and if closed for 3 years they may not of folded out when the slide was extended. Slide seals are suggested to be cleaned and checked / lubed if needed twice a year. Good Luck

Wags, thanks for the info, mine are staying pretty much flat to the slide out on the sides and top. I tried pushing it out from the inside to no avail.
