Leaving Plugged into Power?
I have a Jayco Hummingbird, and was wondering if there would be any reason I shouldn't leave it plugged into the 30amp power all the time?

I too keep it plugged in all summer, while at home.
If it is not plugged in, make sure to disconnect the battery or you will have a dead battery within a few weeks.

I also leave mine plugged in 24/7. I kept my Jayco plugged in 7 years and when I sold it had the original group 24 battery that came with it. THese smart chargers do a good job maintaining the battery.

Another for leaving it plugged in when ever possible. You can probably plug it in at home, probably with an adapter for the household outlet. Just check your battery for water from time to time.
Also check out the Hummingbird Facebook

I don't leave mine plugged in during the winter for a couple of reasons.
Sometimes converters aren't as smart as they could be and will fry your battery over time.
Converters use a lot more power to do the same thing as a battery maintainer.
We winter in Florida and cannot check the battery water or that the power is on.
So that's why I lug my battery into the house where it can't freeze. I keep it on a Battery Tender JR. in the off season. Same for my garden tractor battery.

I do the same thing for the TT, and motorcycle battery, but solely for the possibility that someone else may think they deserve to own them, more than me!

I leave mine plugged in, but disconnect the battery and have it plugged in directly to a batter minder.

Left our Hummingbird plugged in for almost three years any time it was at home and never had an issue.
We leave our new trailer plugged in as well.

I leave ours plugged in, and I check the battery every couple of weeks, sometimes more in extreme summer heat and in the winter. Here in the deep South, winter is not much to worry about, but I am a bit more vigilant in the summer or if we get an extended freeze beyond a 2-3 days in the winter. It really depends.

We leave our 2019 Hummingbird 16MRB plugged in all the time while in storage in our garage, and I did the same with our former RV's, we do the same with our classic vehicle.

I leave mine plugged in when we are on site at a camp ground. I use a solar panel when it's in storage to trickle charge. I have a 2019 humingbird 17FD with 2 road hawk batteries. They should have named them "road kill batteries" it will be the first items I replace.

I leave mine plugged in. If I'm going back out the next week, I have the fridge running as well.

That's what I do as well. The 1989 house charger isn't as good as the new ones.

No reason not to. Note. The CO monitor runs all the time. It will run your battery down, if not plugged into AUX power.
