LED light covers

I have a '15 Eagle 294QBOK and cannot figure out how to get the covers off regards LED lights. I've tried to simply muscle them off but am hesitant to 'Hulk smash' them for fear of breaking them.

Anyone have a tip?

Have you tried twisting them, they may be the twist lock style? Just a guess!

They don't twist. They are oval-ish.

Can't figure out how to copy/paste an image with my Kindle so here's a link.

If its this kind (which baffled me for a while) the covers slide off of the ends.

OK then, on laptop

If this isn't your fixture, let us know what kind it is.

I inserted a knife into the gap between the cover and the bezel

Was it a friction fit or catches?

There are four tabs that hold the cover in place

Ah... Got it!

Pry along the side about 1/4-1/3 back from the end. That'll get one 'corner'.

Pry for the other one on the same side.

Cover should fall down.

The one over the dining table was installed with the switch towards the cabinets, not the walkway. THAT sucker's getting turned around this weekend.

Thanks!!

Ok, so other than Mike's case where the fixture needs to move, what's the point in removing the lens? The diodes are not end-user replaceable, right?

The fixture is replaceable as a unit and you have to get the cover off to get to the screws.

It may be possible to change out the LED module. I'll see if there is a connector.
