Led Light on Awnings?

Looking for away to add a permanent led lights to the Awnings that will not interfere when closing the Awnings.

- Am I asking too much?

I got the idea after seen this pic on the internet - very nice!

Oh, that would be nice! Ours came with the lights attached just under the awning, on the trailer side, so they work even when the awning is retracted. However, friends we camp with have grumbled about how space-ship bright they are, so we don't use 'em much. (DW finds she can take the dog out for his bedtime pee without a flashlight when they're on, though, and she likes that.)

I just did what this owner shared, and it came together very well:http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f3...ing-12488.html

Just got back from a short two night trip and the lights worked great.

I have not done it, but there is a thread here somewhere where people are putting dimmers on the awning LEDs. Maybe that would help with the spaceship appearance?
