Led replacement bulbs

I was looking at some replacement bulbs for the interior of my 26BH and came across LED bulbs.
Has anyone used LED's and have they noticed a difference in their power consumption.
The LED's are much more expensive than the regular bulbs and wondering if its worth the expense.
I would be inclined to do it if the consumption was noticeably lower.

Lots of people have switched to LED and noticed the drop in power consumption. Some of the LED panels use about 1/3-1/4 the power of an incandescent. The 26BH (at least mine) uses the T10 type base and 921 bulbs in most of the interior fixtures. I'm trying to find an LED (cob or panel) that has the same output (lumens) as a 921. Some people that have made the switch complain about a blueish color light...some suggest finding a supplier and order a few bulbs or panels to try before committing to buying all of them.

I just got through doing the upgrade in my x23b. I've got all 921 bulbs and I tried a cheap set first and they did indeed turn very blue after running for a while. I ended up getting

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They're a bit more than some folks have been finding some good deals on, but I'm loving them. 3w each, bright daylight color temp, and I because they're more white than yellow I think they seem brighter (though didn't calc lumens diff) than the stock ones. Definitely a lot cooler running.

Here's a link to my bulb replacement thread / test results. I'm very happy with them....no failures, none of the adhesive has failed (as some had issue with).....

Good luck in your decision...

As one who is the proud owner of two $20 nightlights purchased at CW that were supposed to equal the original incandescents, I urge you to find a single bulb pancake fixture in your trailer and use it as a test before making a decision on what particular LEDs to purchase. I've chickened out for the time being and will wait until these things shake out. Some day we should be able to buy them as easily as we bought incandescents. We don't boondock, so we're just looking to preserve a few of our 30 amps for other uses while we're spending a few months in it in the winter.

I replaced all of the bulbs in our old trailer (Jay Flight 29 BHS) with peel and stick LED replacements that were about 3000k. That means they have a warm white color. The 921 bulbs from CW were not great because they were dimmer and closer to 5000k or cool white. I never had a failure and the energy usage was about 1/10 of the incandescent bulbs. I also reduced my air air conditioning load. When we got our new Greyhawk I replaced the bulbs in it as well.
