Lepage quad sealant for TPO roof

Just had some service work done by my dealer on our '15 Eagle 324bhts. I asked the service man about roof sealant and he said they use Quad sealant (by lepage) for all their roofs on jayco. The odd thing to he advised is that they clean the area first with break cleaner. Just inquiring if anyone else heard of this. I did confirm my roof is a TPO by dicor

I know Jayco uses the Quad sealant on the sides, but Jayco themselves recently told me when I asked that they use the Dicor 501 on the roof, or 502, which is the same thing. I knew it looked and fealt like 501, but had to ask. As for the brake cleaner, never heard of that. I've always used mineral spirits or denatured alcohol per dicor, carefully, and it's always been fine. I've got all the correspondence saved for reference.
