Auto levelers and Tongue Jack

Hi All
A question about levelers on my 2020 330rsts. After auto leveling the tongue jack stays up above the pad. Should I manually extend it to the ground or should I leave it in the last position that the auto level left it in..
Service department where I purchased had two different answers.
Thanks

The original leveling systems used by Jayco on their travel trailers was a BAL system that utilized the tongue jack as part of the leveling process since the front jacks in that system were actually just stabilizers instead of true leveling jacks and were not rated to hold that much weight without the tongue jack.

From what I understand, the 2020's now have the Lippert Ground Control TT system and if true, the tongue jack is SUPPOSED to be up with only the four leveler's touching the ground. The tongue jack will extend on it's own during the retraction process so no, you should not extend it back down.

This is correct. The tongue jack should be retracted when the leveling system is complete.
